 For the disabled persons, who are partially and/or not able to use their arms and hands (spinal cord paralytic, muscle disease etc.) wheelchair with battery support is provided. Wheelchair with battery may not be covered by social security. |

EDUCATION WITHOUT HINDRANCE PROJECT |
|
 Education without Hindrance Project is being conducted under a protocol signed between the Ministry of Education and our society. Within the framework of the campaign, ramps, lifts, toilets for the disabled are built, desks and thresholds are modified in schools with little or no steps at the entrance and which has classrooms and toilets or areas suitable for constructing toilets.

3rd INTERNATIONAL SMILING CHILD FESTIVAL in ISTANBUL |
 The Spinal Cord Paralytics Society of Turkey has organized 1st International Smiling Child Festival in 2006 and 2nd International Smiling Child Festival in 2007, 750 disabled and non-disabled children from 26 country participated. Our prior purpose of founding this organization is to help handicapped children to socialize with other children and to protect the future of them in this changing world. |
